Harassment:
The college is committed to
provide a safe and secure environment to the female staff members and the girl
students so that they can thrivefreely and grow themselves in their personal
and professional life. It has a well-developed mechanism to handle with issues
of sexual harassment at the work place. A committee is duly constituted in the
beginning of the session comprising senior members and the Principal as
chairperson. This committee works to resolve any complaints of sexual
misdemeanor received from any staff member or student on priority basis.
Besides, the college has a
vibrant Women Cell that works on personality development of the girl students.
Its commitment is to ensure the awareness and empowerment of women through
various activities like health check-up, extension lectures on legal and
constitutional rights of women, self-defense workshops, gender sensitization
programmes etc.
