Assurance Cell (IQAC)
The college has a robust Internal Quality Assurance
Cell (IQAC) continuously working for maintaining and enhancing the quality of
different academic and institutional practices like teaching – learning,
co-curricular and extra-curricular activities, administration and management,
research and extension activities, community engagement etc.
The IQAC of the college is constituted as per the
guidelines and instructions of the UGC and the Directorate of Higher Education,
Haryana comprising of teachers from different faculties, student
representatives from UG and PG programmes, representative of the alumni, parent
stakeholder, senior administrator and local industrialist. It is headed by the
worthy Principal and one competent experienced faculty functions as coordinator
of the cell.
The IQAC works in close coordination
with all the departments, cells and committees to ensure qualitative
functioning for the optimum gain. Through the active participation of different
stakeholders like students, parents, teachers and alumni, the cell committedly
acts for the growth of the institution and thereby of the stakeholders.
Some
of the major activities of the IQAC are preparation of Academic Calendar and
Institutional Plan in the beginning of the academic session, Verification of
CAS/ API of the faculty members, academic and administrative audit, preparation
for accreditation and AQAR, collection and analysis of feedback from different
stakeholders and suggestions for improvements thereon, setting and achieving
new quality benchmarks etc.
